Jeff Colvin to lead MP2 Energy’s commercial and industrial sales programs
HOUSTON (April 27, 2016) – MP2 Energy is pleased to announce Jeff Colvin as its new vice president of national commercial and industrial sales. Colvin joins MP2 Energy with more than a decade of sales experience in the energy industry, managing teams responsible for millions of dollars in sales revenue.
In his new role at MP2, Jeff will lead the employee-directed commercial and industrial (C&I) sales desk and pricing group, assign and manage brokers to maximize sales, and ensure excellent customer service in MP2’s “brokers as partners” model.
Colvin began his career in the energy industry with EnergyTX in Addison, Texas, where he managed sales agents statewide to grasp market share for Retail Electric Providers (REPs) in all deregulated areas of Texas. Roles at Direct Energy Business and Champion Energy Services grew Colvin’s portfolio of direct sales and sales leadership in the energy industry, and in his most recent position, Colvin served as director of U.S. Commercial Sales for Hudson Energy Services. At Hudson, Colvin and his team implemented a strategic plan that increased engagement with sales partners resulting in double-digit year-over-year growth in electricity and natural gas sales across U.S. markets in FY15.
